Shipping To Different Addresses
Having your order shipped to an address not listed on your credit card account can delay the processing of your order. For reasons of security, EXTREMEGEAR.COM does not automatically ship out orders to addresses that are not listed on your credit card account. When an order like this is received it is placed in the Credit Card Fraud Prevention cue. Once in this cue the order will not be shipped until the following steps are completed:

1. Your credit card will be debited a randomly selected amount. This amount will vary from order to order for your protection, and is 100% applied to your purchase. When the need to do this arises you will be notified via email.
2. Next, simply contact your issuing bank, or check your monthly statement for your unique debit(these usually show up within 4 business days), and e-mail us back the exact amount.
3. Once the random debit amount is verified, we will charge the balance and ship your order the same day.

International Orders(Back to top)
International orders will be shipped via UPS Worldwide only for a flat rate of $40.00 per package shipped. An example of this would be as follows: A customer buys skis, skis boots and ski bindings. The skis being very large and awkward would constitute one package, while the boots and bindings could be combined into another. The total for shipping this order would be $80.00. When trying to determine your shipping keep the following in mind: Items like skis, snowboards, wakeboards, tents, sleeping bags and backpacks with large external frames will each have to be shipped as a separate package. Items like ski boots and bindings and large backpacks can be combined (2 or 3) into one package. Items like clothing and smaller hardgoods can usually all be fit into one package. Due to the limitations of our existing shipping calculator, International shipping charges will only show as $40.00 on the website.

If you refuse to pay import or customs tax levied by the country to which your order was shipped, your order may be destroyed or otherwise disposed of by said authorities. If this occurs you will be not be entitled to any refund from EXTREMEGEAR.COM.

Extra security measures have been put into place for cards issued from overseas banks because of the difficulty in verifying foreign cards and cardholders. If you use a credit card issued from an overseas bank your order will be immediately placed into our Credit Card Fraud Prevention Cue. Orders being shipped to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico MUST be shipped either UPS 2-Day Air or UPS Next Day Air only. Ground service is provided by The United States Post Office at a flat fee of $10.00.

Free Shipping / No Sales Tax
Orders of $40.00 or more receive Free Shipping if shipped via UPS Ground to anywhere in the contiguous United States.

EXTREMEGEAR.COM operates from a no sales tax state. Therefore no sales tax of any kind will ever be added to your order, no matter where you live.

UNUSED ITEMS, with all of the original tags and packaging must be post-marked to us within 15 days of receiving your order. If you wish to return your unused item please send us a copy of your receipt with an explanation for your return, and/or the items for which you would like to exchange, for a full refund minus a $5.00 restocking fee($20.00 for snow skis and snowboards) on purchase price.

Please Note: We can process returns and exchanges only for items purchased from EXTREMEGEAR.COM.
Items that are returned after the 15 day timeframe will be charged a 15% restocking fee. We do not accept returns after 30 days. We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. Please include a copy of your receipt with an explanation for your return, and/or the items for which you would like to exchange.

Please Note: Any of following items cannot be returned and will be refused if shipped to us for the purpose of a return.

• Special Orders are non-returnable
• Climbing Equipment is non-returnable
• Bathing Suits without protective strips are non-returnable
• Any footwear orders with return shipping labels on manufacturers box, rather than original shipping box are non-returnable.
• Skis and snowboards that have "accidently: fallen off of a vehichle's roof rack or have been damaged in some other unfortunate way are non-returnable.

Orders usually process within 24 hours or at the latest on the next business day.
However, sometimes processing can take up to 3 business days when order volume is abnormally high.
If a problem arises with an order, such as different Bill to and Ship to addresses, the customer will be notified via email.
